Wednesday, October 14
We are going to resume our WNL: Faith & Flicks series Wednesday night. We will be taking a look at the movie "Wall-E". The movie is 98 minutes long, so we need everyone to be in the Youth Center at 5:45 for us get the movie in on time. The movie will start at 5:45. The following two weeks (10/21 & 10/28) we are going to be discussing the themes in the movie. We hope you will join us.
Friday, October 16
We are going to be tailgating at Greenwood high school for the Greenwood/Central Hardin football game. We will be set up by 5:30 and will wrap up by kick off. The tailgates have been great fun all year, so we hope to see you out!
Saturday, October 17
Saturday night is Bowling Green's Big Date Night. We are having a dessert social and a viewing of the movie "Fireproof" for all adults. We will also be providing childcare for children, as well as having Wii, and a movie for junior high students. Senior high students are needed for childcare (running a Fall Festival). Sunday, October 18
We will be continuing our BFC and Ignite series. We also ask for your patience as we are trying to work out just how we are going to manage our 90 minute Ignite time. We have ran a little over the last two Sundays and we apologize. We are working some kinks out and will get it to where the kids are ready to be picked up promptly at 7:30. Thanks for your patience!

Weekly Update 10/5/09-10/11/09
Verse of the week: 1 Peter 2:11-12
Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.
What a weekend at BGCC! On Friday we had a great tailgate, then 25 kids at the 5th Quarter following the game. We played 'Capture the Flag', 'Killer', ate food, played Wii, and just enjoyed time hanging out. Then last night was a great night at Ignite. We had 22 kids during Fall Break week! We truly have awesome kids at BGCC and in The Movement.
No Wednesday Night...kind of
Due to Fall Break, we are not having any Wednesday night festivities this week. We will start back next week with a movie, and then follow that week with a couple weeks of discussion.
However, all the girls are invited to Lindsay & Jared's house for a girls night watching "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants". Food will be served at 5:00pm, and the movie should be over around 7:30pm. Please be praying for Jared, he's having a hard time realizing that he is no longer in control!
Sunday
We are continuing our "Blurred Lines" & "Tug O' War" series during our BFC time. Also we will continue our Sunday night "Masquerade" series.
The big thing for Sunday is that the deposit for the fall retreat November 20-22 in Lexington is due. The deposit is $30. We are very excited about this weekend, and as always if you have any questions just shoot us an e-mail at youth@bowlinggreenchristian.org.

We will be tailgating at Greenwood High prior to the Central Hardin v. Greenwood game. 5:30-7:00. Make sure the bundle up and join us for some fun!

BGCC will be hosing "Bowling Green's Big Date Night" with a dessert social and a viewing of 'Fireproof'. We can only do this if we provide childcare. We are looking for senior high students to volunteer to work stations for our Fall Festival that we will be hosting during the movie. Also, we will have a movie over in the Youth Center for junior high students. If you are interested, please let us know by e-mailing youth@bowlinggreenchristian.org
